The Homeless Management Information System "HMIS" is a federally mandated data system that tracks housing and services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Administered locally by Kings United Way since 2007, HMIS provides an unduplicated count of clients served, measures program effectiveness and delivers a clearer picture of homelessness in Kings and Tulare counties.
211 is a program of Kings United Way that serves as an informational tool to find local public resources and services from government, community, and non-profit organizations.
